Heather Scott, Vice President, Strategic Planning and Consumer Insights, Seattle
Heather is a pioneer in the modern art of communications planning and media relations. Her nearly 30 year career has been punctuated with a mix of client and agency work where she seeks to create more meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships between brands and people. She is responsible for leading and overseeing the integration of the customer insights practice across the agency’s North America business.
Prior to joining WE, she served as the Principal Marketing Manager at Amazon, leading channel marketing for US retail devices supporting tablets, e-readers and streaming media. Prior to Amazon, Heather led a team of strategic planners for Wunderman, a digital agency where she was responsible for integrated marketing strategy development, uncovering insights and trends and overseeing the planning team. In this role she worked with Adidas, T-Mobile, Intel and Group Health pushing for fresh insights, unique strategies and disruptive concepts which helped T-Mobile win the 2013 DMA Marketer of the Year award.
