Market Research 2.0: Becoming more proactive and strategic

Tired of hearing about how we need to change the way we work, but nobody seems to know what that actually looks like?  We keep hearing that insights professionals need to become more proactive, and that technology is the answer. But it's not the whole answer - our behaviors need to change, too.

Together we will explore practical ways we can shift our behaviors and teach our customers to see us as proactive consultants instead of living in a reactive environment.  Learn some of the simpler changes you can make to move towards a more proactive approach to insights.

In this presentation you will learn that...

  • Behavior change starts with a mindset shift
  • The mindset shift is easier than it sounds
Finally you will...
  • Experience how simple the change in mindset can be!
Join us for an exciting and engaging presentation

Our Speaker:

Zontziry ("Z") Johnson
VP Customer Transformation

Z Johnson started her career in market research at a Department of Energy national laboratory as a survey programmer. Not long after, she was teaching others how to write better surveys and growing a team of primary market research specialists. She then moved to Microsoft to work on research operations, and has since enjoyed roles on both sides of the market research partnership as well as in market research technology. A VP of Customer Transformation for Zappi, Z helps Zappi’s customers change the way they do insights through coaching and consulting.

ZappiZ is also a member of the Market Research Institute International board of directors, a member of the Puget Sound Research Forum board of directors, an active contributor to the market research discussions on Twitter (#mrx), and host of the MRXplorer podcast. In her spare time, she loves reading with her family, exploring the outdoors, playing piano, and playing a wide variety of board games.
