What's in a Name? 

Names are important. They give an impression and tell a story. Whether you plan to rename a company or are starting fresh with a new product or service in need of a name, you need to be aware of some key considerations. During this presentation Nancy will:

  • Walk you through a process for conducting naming research
  • Provide insight into the different types of names
  • Share what you need to keep in mind as you choose a name
  • Explain how ideation, qualitative and quantitative research come into play

About our Presenter, Nancy Hardwick:

Nancy Hardwick, President, Hardwick Research, has been working in the market research industry for over 30 years. She incorporates both qualitative and quantitative techniques in her practice. As a sought after moderator, skilled listener, and effective communicator, Nancy enjoys the challenge of uncovering why people do what they do. Nancy works closely with clients to assess project objectives and determine the appropriate research design. She employs a wide range of research methodologies including hybrid approaches that incorporate focus groups, in-depth interviews, usability testing, ethnography, intercept interviews, online focus groups, online discussion boards, strategic brainstorming sessions, as well as telephone, online and mail surveys.
