Zontziry (Z) Johnson started her career in market research at a Department of Energy national laboratory as a survey programmer. Not long after, she was teaching others how to write better surveys and growing a team of primary market research specialists. She then moved to Microsoft to work on research operations, and has since enjoyed roles on both sides of the market research partnership as well as in market research technology.
Z is currently the VP of Consulting Solutions for Zappi, building a service layer to help customers get the most of our their Zappi platform. Z is also a member of the Market Research Institute International board of directors and co-host of two podcasts: MRXplorer (focused on themes in market research) and Breath of Air (focused on mental health themes). In her spare time, she loves reading with her family, exploring the outdoors, watercolors, playing piano, and playing a wide variety of board games.
