    Northwest Insights, a division of Blink, is looking for a Data Coordinator to join our team. This position will support our Project Management team with qualitative research data collection. This entails helping with market research survey programming, data management, and analysis of survey results. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detailed oriented, and able to handle tight deadlines.


    • Program surveys in Survey Gizmo to screen and recruit participants for market research studies.
    • Manage and analyze the data that comes back from survey applicants, helping to strategically determine next steps for a successful recruiting timeline.
    • Help ensure the survey respondents we recruit for research studies are high quality participants. 


    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
    • Experience with survey questionnaire programming i.e. survey gizmo/survey monkey is ideal.
    • Logic base survey knowledge a plus, as well as knowledge or experience in the market research industry.
    • Knowledge of database software tools (i.e. Access) is a plus.
    • Experience with email blast software (i.e. Constant Contact) is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well independently.
    • Organized with excellent time management skills.
    • Able to type a minimum of 40 wpm with 90% accuracy.

This role will work with clients and internal staff to coordinate various types of qualitative market research studies successfully. We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual to ensure our projects run on-time, on-budget, and with the highest level of service to our clients. 


    Project Management

    • Work with clients to manage qualitative research projects from start to finish. Manage the day-to-day progress of research projects assigned.
    • Manage project budget and negotiate with client on adjustments if needed.
    • Work with division team regarding recruiting process, including meeting client’s criteria.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal team.
    • Ability to edit documents with a high level of detail and accuracy.
    • Oversee the quality of recruits, ensuring respondents fit into the spirit of the project.
    • Write/review and consult with clients regarding research materials.
    • Manage project billing and related follow through to close out projects.
    • Additional administrative duties, as needed: facility needs, host instructions, project set up (fielding instructions, screener as needed etc).

    Sales and Marketing

    • Assist Director of Division with marketing efforts as needed.


    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Project Management

    ·       Assist with analyzing data (charts and descriptive statistics) and writing reports that communicate findings to clients

    ·       Manage focus group and interview recruitment and hosting

    ·       Coordinate research implementation (working with vendors, scheduling facilities, program online surveys, monitor responses, answer participant inquiries, and provide participant reminders)

    ·       Manage assigned tasks under the direction of senior associates and directors

    Client Relations

    ·       Establish effective communication with clients, vendors and communities

    Project Manager - Consumer Brand Research

    The role of a Research Project Manager is to oversee the set up and management of qualitative and quantitative research projects to ensure successful completion within H&P Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This will require working closely with research teams, clients, field partners, facilities, data management centers, and other external suppliers/partners. You will be expected to contribute to the company’s operational processes by providing proactive ideas and plans about improving the efficiency of the project management function and by supporting operational initiatives.


    • Set-up and manage projects spanning from ad-hoc to tracking studies across a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies
    • Act as an expert to support researchers and other project management team members for methodology, sampling and supplier selection in markets
    • Cover full project management, including not just the research team and the suppliers, but also liaising professionally with clients and taking a key role in status meetings and providing updates on fieldwork, timelines, deliverables, etc.
    • Provide full costs and timings for new business proposals or existing projects
    • Drive adherence to H&P Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) within the research teams
    • Identify further areas for efficiency and profitability of projects
    • Maintain and update databases of recommended field partners and contribute to managing suppliers’ best practice
    • Provide expertise and proactive guidance as to how to be as operationally efficient as possible
