Our Survey Programmers are responsible for the programming and quality assurance of online surveys, as well as, the management of survey samples. This individual will work closely with our project management and client services teams to consult on survey design and to ensure that our client’s projects are completed on time and within budget.

This position is client-facing and requires providing excellent customer service while managing our custom qualitative market research projects. The position requires an organized, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects while meeting quick deadlines. This is a remote, full-time hourly position. Hours maybe flexible between 30-40 hours a week.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Attending project kick-off meetings to ensure survey logic makes sense and that surveys are designed in a way to find people that fit participant requirements.
  • Providing consultative feedback to the project team as well as clients about how to best structure questionnaires for efficient programming and data delivery; offering alternate solutions when requests are not feasible.
  • Programing participant requirements in our survey system, ARCS – includes prioritizing key questions and identifying hard-to-find quotas (questions for holding participants).
  • Checking for the accuracy of the survey program by validating the programming is error-free, and by testing the survey online.
  • Pulling participant samples for active jobs (identifying likely qualified participants in the database). Sorting through data: identifying holds, sorting out unqualified participants when there are programming limitations.
  • Building email blasts and formatting for qualified results so recruiting can schedule participants for research.
  • Monitoring incoming survey responses – checking response rate, analyzing data to find where most people are disqualified, determining what demos/criteria to target to fill quotas.
  • Performing maintenance as needed throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong emotional and social intelligence skills for managing client relations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to de-dupe and sort data
  • Strong logic and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside of the box
  • Knowledge of survey programming language (Alchemer, Qualtrics, Survey Monkey or other).
  • Knowledge of user experience and market research preferred
  • Experience with ARCs platform would be a plus
