WHO YOU ARE

You are a strategic marketing leader who has built successful, global, GTM plans and B2B marketing programs. You are a results-driven and customer-centric leader who practices servant and situational leadership and is excited by new technology initiatives. As a leader and player-coach, you are passionate about developing people, understanding the customer, achieving SMART goals, and driving revenue. You understand and have used marketing frameworks, led web marketing initiatives and directed compelling customer demand generation programs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As the VP of Marketing you will plan, develop, execute, and review all marketing initiatives; including customer acquisition, retention and expansion programs, partner marketing, field marketing, product launches, thought leadership, corporate marketing, sales and channel enablement, and marketing metrics management, including customer loyalty. You will manage all communication mediums, including the website, and participate in customer and partner events. You will be an integral part of the go-to-market and leadership teams and be the face of marketing to our customers and partners. You will also:

  • Plan, lead, direct and monitor all marketing activities
  • Implement market-leading growth strategies to achieve company objectives
  • Launch product updates and bring new products to market
  • Develop corporate messaging, public relations strategy, internal communications, social media campaigns, storytelling, brand positioning, webcasting, and announcements — ensuring our blogs and other communication strategies are coordinated
  • Provide digital marketing leadership, achieving successful results with SEO, paid search, conversion optimization, and marketing automation
  • Lead a marketing culture of trust, commitment and accountability that is focused on results
  • Manage marketing processes and performance, focusing on best-in-class results that position the company and our brand in the marketplace
  • Partner with Sales to navigate complex customer groups and channels to build marketing resources and related tools
  • Support “big idea” strategic thinking to enhance our brand equities while supporting our company culture, direction and objectives
  • Maintain an annual marketing plan that is reviewed and updated quarterly
  • Manage global field marketing activities with team members in the Americas, Europe and Asia
  • Travel up to 10%, globally

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • Tremendous hunger for delivering results
  • Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible B2B experience in software marketing
  • Minimum 10 years marketing management experience, with 5 years in senior marketing leadership
  • Highly effective senior leadership skills, with a proven track record of building and motivating strong teams and leading others at manager level and above
  • Experience managing comprehensive strategic marketing and communications programs to advance the company’s mission and goals
  • Proven track record creating global, B2B, demand generation programs that drive revenue growth
  • Expert understanding of marketing and digital marketing, with a natural curiosity for keeping up with rapid changes in our industry and customer preferences and expectations
  • Exceptional professional ethics and strong work principles, with a high level of business acumen
  • Energy, flexibility and a collaborative mindset, with the demonstrated ability to positively and productively impact and influence, both strategically and tactically
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent peer relationship skills
  • Marketing experience with enterprise software systems or marketing complementary technologies that leverage mid-market to enterprise ERP, WMS and MES technologies
  • Experience in Auto-ID, barcode, printer manufacturer or supply chain software a plus

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, international business or equivalent work experience

  • This is a full-time position under a hybrid work model in Bellevue, Washington.  Local candidates only, please.
