LET’S STOP DATA DUMPING! Tell Stories Instead For Bigger Impact.

Guest Speaker: Melissa Reaves
CEO & Founder of Story Fruition | Author of The Storyteller’s Mind Movie: Become an Emotionally Connected Leader Through Your Storytelling Skills

Are your presentations drowning in data?
It’s a Monday morning and you are sharing the latest insights with your Executive Leadership team, but it doesn’t feel right. Does your gut tell you that your slides are really data-heavy and you notice your audience is not as engaged as you’d like? Charts alone don’t win hearts—or decisions. That’s why researchers and executives are turning to storytelling to bring their insights to life.

💡 Learn how to:
✅ Put Heart Behind the Chart—engage before you analyze
✅ Transform dry data into compelling narratives
✅ Keep your audience focused, inspired, and ready to act with a presentation designed for speakers, not just readers.
🔥 No one is going to remember the pie-chart, but they will remember the story!

Additionally, the QRCA is hosting a follow-up event for QRCA members and interested non-members who would like to stay after the event, from 2 to 4pm for dessert and sharing the “Best of the QRCA Conference.”  They will have QRCA members who attended the 2025 Annual Conference (February) in Philadelphia share their takeaways from the event.  Each will delve into what they learned (concepts, tips, tricks, and/or tools), discussing the best of the conference.

CEO & Founder of Story Fruition | Author of The Storyteller’s Mind Movie: Become an Emotionally Connected Leader Through Your Storytelling Skills

As a former data technology executive at Oracle and other pioneering ad tech start-ups, Melissa Reaves knows firsthand how overwhelming slides packed with data can be. But after years in enterprise sales and on stage as a professional storyteller and improviser, she discovered the secret: Data doesn’t drive decisions—stories do. Now, as the CEO of Story Fruition, Melissa and her team teach business leaders how to turn cold numbers into compelling Vision Stories, Customer Journey Stories, and Mission Stories that spark action.

Melissa has helped entrepreneurs and executives raise over $170 million in capital using her Mind Movie Method—a data storytelling approach so effective that MBA programs are taking notice.
